Evansville Museum Hosts 2nd Annual Drone Film Festival
The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science is accepting submissions for the 2nd annual International Drone Film Festival. On Saturday, April 27th filmmakers have the chance to show off their work and compete for cash prizes.
Drone technology and their increased capabilities allow users to capture some really beautiful images. This competition will highlight offers an overview of the trends and techniques of drone cinematography.
Submission categories include
- Landscapes (Nature, Urban, etc.)
- Extreme Video (Drone Racing, Sports, Fast Paced Videos)
- Open Category (Non-traditional).
Submissions are being accepted until March 22nd online at FilmFreeway.com. Grand prizes are for Best of Show, Best Tri-State Film, Best Student Entry and People’s Choice Award.
For those of us who would like to view these films, we can do so from 11am-3pm on April 27th in the Koch Immersive Theatre. Admission to the festival is $20 per person, that also gets you access to the entire museum.
