Sunset Skatepark has been an exciting project in downtown Evansville, and we finally have an official opening date!
An Exciting Evansville Development
What started out as a dream for many in the local skating and biking community in Evansville, has officially turned into a reality. Over the last couple of years, there have been many fundraisers and even grants that have led to the largest concrete skatepark in Indiana finally becoming a reality. Sunset Skatepark has been in development along the downtown Evansville riverfront for the past year, and recently they took to Facebook to announce an official opening date.

Sunset Skatepark took to Facebook to announce that the largest concrete skatepark in the state of Indiana will officially be open to the public on December 16th!
The grand opening of the skatepark will coincide with a ribbon cutting at 10 AM as well as live music from local bands, food, and much more.
You’ve heard it and it’s true!!! We’re ready for you to roll your way into Indiana’s Largest Skatepark on December 16th! 10am ribbon cutting followed by food and music!
