Anytime I hear sirens the first thing that I do is check EvansvilleWatch on Facebook. It's a public page run by volunteers that listen to the police scanner and get information out to the public. Most of the time the calls that our police officers go to are pretty serious. Then sometimes you see a call that makes you go 'Hmm'.

General Complaint- 2501 N Stockwell, Stockwell School. Caller is upset over a food truck parked at the school and selling food to spectators at a sporting event. Caller is demanding to speak to an officer over this and was not satisfied with the call-takers conversation about it. EPD enroute.

As it turns out, both of the food trucks that were set up have permission to be in that same lot every Sunday. We may never know why this caused such an issue for the woman that called 911.

I can tell you that both food trucks received plenty of free advertising thanks to over 500 comments on EvansvilleWatch.

Isn’t it incredible with all the crime and violence we have going on in Evansville, that the police now have to worry about wayward food trucks. I’d love to see them buy something while they were there! ~ Joy JenkinsI'm at the event. The cops just bought food and left😂😂 ~ Dalia Castro

Wow! Petty Crocker is starting early today. ~ Cassandra Gibbs
