Evansville Hydrofest Announces Free Admission, BBQ Festival, and More

Officials announced yesterday the Evansville Hydrofest is planning for a bigger and better family friendly festival  this summer and will make it affordable for everyone.  

The big news came just moments into the meeting held at Cavanaugh's at the Tropicana that the festival will offer FREE admission to everyone!

The Evansville Hydrofest will be held August 16, 17, and 18 on the Ohio River with plenty of reasons to come downtown:

• Free admission
• Boat races on the Ohio River
• BBQ Festival including a competition (ticketed event)
• Vintage Motorcycles
• Car Show
• Entertainment
• Vendors
• Food Trucks

As Mayor Lloyd Winnecke explained at the meeting,

This event will bring national and international media coverage focused on Evansville.....You can't beat free."
