Evansville Baby Bank Offers Items to Families in Need
Whether you have items to donate or are simply in need yourself, the Evansville Baby Bank is ready to assist you.
With the holidays fast approaching, it's important to think about what we can do for others during this season of giving. My wife and I keep a list of nonprofits we donate to throughout the year, and during the holidays, we always try to give a little extra when feasible. I say this not to boast, but rather to inspire you to donate to causes near and dear to your heart. There are many great nonprofit initiatives in our community that go above and beyond for those in need, including the Evansville Baby Bank.
The Evansville Baby Bank is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free baby and toddler items to those in the Evansville area who need them. Items include diapers, wipes, baby food, toys, clothes, and more. The charity is run out of North Park Wesleyan Church, located at 3360 N. First Avenue in Evansville. The bank is open to the public on the first Sunday of every month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Central Time.
As you can see from the flyer above, the organization operates solely on donations—that’s where you come in. Currently, the organization is in urgent need of 12-month boys' winter clothes, 3T girls' winter clothes, size 4 and 5 diapers, and wipes. Donations can be left just outside the Baby Bank entrance or under the church gym awning. To stay up to date with the organization’s future needs, you can find them on Facebook by clicking HERE.
