Because of the extreme heat plaguing the area this week, Kentucky's Ellis Park will be moving the post time of the first race on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

First Post

This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 22, 23, & 24, 2022, the post time for the first race of the day will take place at 10:30 am central standard time.

Honoring Military & First Responders

Ellis Park will be honoring members of the military, as well as first responders this weekend.

Ellis Park this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (July 22-24) is honoring the everyday heroes who keep the community safe with retired and active military and first responders honored during Heroes Weekend presented by Humana at the RUNHAPPY Meet.

On Saturday, an assembly of local and state first responders will be recognized with races named in their honor. That includes the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, Henderson Police Department, Henderson fire departments, Kentucky State Police and other first responders.

Fulfill Your 'Yellowstone' Fantasies at The Double J Riding Stables & Horseman's Campground in Western KY

The Double J Riding Stables & Horseman's Campground is situated off the Northeastern corner of Mammoth Cave National Park in Western Kentucky. What drew me to the campground is that they offer horse-friendly campsites for those who have their own horses and also guided horseback trail rides for those who don't!

Our family LOVES horses but we currently don't have a horse for everyone in the family so this would be a perfect solution to get everyone the chance to play cowboy and live out all their Yellowstone fantasies!
