Soup season is here, and if you're craving a delicious, comforting bowl, this is your ultimate guide to a variety of easy and quick soup recipes.

As much as I enjoy backyard barbecue, the last few weeks have tested both my fire management skills and my ability to withstand cold temperatures. There have been times I've braved the cold to throw on some spare ribs or chicken, but after trudging through the snow to and from work, I've exhausted my patience for being outside. So, as my backyard smokers now sit covered in snow, I've been exploring more indoor wintertime recipes—most notably, soup.

One of my favorite soups to make around this time of year is Crab Bisque, or Seafood Bisque when I add shrimp. I've been making this recipe from Delish for several years, but the ingredients are a tad more expensive than most other soups, and it requires a lot of intricate steps. Because of this, I usually only make a pot once or twice a year. Fortunately, I've recently come across other soup recipes that are both budget- and time-friendly, making them perfect for weeknight dinners year-round.

There are an abundance of great soups you can enjoy during this cold weather season that will leave you feeling full and your wallet happy. Below, you'll find a list of some of the easiest to make, along with a link to the actual recipe. That said, there are certainly a variety of ways you can make each of the soups below, so feel free to explore other recipes to find the one you like best.
