Don Mattingly Hosts Exclusive Youth Hitting Clinic in Evansville

Don Mattingly is a beloved figure to fans of Major League Baseball, for his successful career as a player and as a coach and manager. He is especially beloved here in Southern Indiana because of all of the wonderful charity work he does around his hometown. Evansville's favorite son is offering a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a group of young ball players at an amazing fundraising event.

Don Mattingly is hosting an exclusive hitting clinic on Saturday, November 18 from 8am-10am at D-Bat Evansville. The clinic is for kids ages 12-18, and there are only 30 spots available. The cost is $200 each and all of the proceeds will be donated to Mattingly Charities.

The nonprofit Mattingly Charities organization was originally founded in 2007 in North Haven, CT, but moved to Evansville in 2015. The mission of Mattingly Charities is to provide support to organizations that administer educational advancement, social development, and athletic programs for underserved youth in the Evansville, IN community.
