Coors Light Launches New Taller Boy For Serious World Cup Drinkers
The World Cup Comes To America
In case you didn't know, soccer is the most popular sport in the world. The only country in which soccer is not the most popular sport is America. However, Mexico and the United States of America were selected by FIFA to host the 2026 World Cup. The biggest soccer event in the world takes place every four years, and to be selected to host it can be quite a feat. If you want to know more about the history of FIFA and its selection process, I highly recommend the Netflix documentary, FIFA Uncovered. As people from around the world invade the United States of America for one of the greatest athletic events there is, they're also being inundated with American culture. One of the common themes you'll hear from foreigners is how the serving size of anything in America is far more than anywhere else in the world. If they thought the Lumberjack Slam at Denny's was too much, wait until they get a look at Coors Light's World Cup offering.
Coors Light Introduces Taller Boy
To celebrate the World Cup on home turf, a lot of your beer distributors have come up with some interesting items. For example, Miller Lite released the "Miller Time MVP Matchball", an oversized soccer ball cooler that holds up to 12 cans of beer. The cooler was sold online exclusively through the Miller Lite store and sold out almost instantly. Priced at $19.75 to honor the year the brand was founded, there's no word yet on whether more will be produced. Coors Light has introduced the Taller Boy, a tall can koozie that holds up to three Coors Light cans for the serious fan. According to the website, only 125 were initially made and are currently sold out. However, you can place your order today via the Coors Light website. The limited edition item will only be available through June 18 at midnight.
