Colts Players Sing to Boonville Girl During Final Chemo Treatment at Riley [VIDEO]
8-year-old Cecilia of Boonville received a surprise visit from a few familiar faces over the weekend when Andrew Luck and several of his Indianapolis Colts teammates paid her a visit to sing a few Christmas songs during her final chemotherapy treatment at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
The Christmas Caroling is an annual visit the Colts make to kids spending time at Riley as a way to brighten their spirits during the holiday season. Cecilia's mom, Elizabeth, shared video of team singing to her daughter through a Facebook group she's set up to keep friends and family back home up-to-date on her progress.
According to the group's info page, Cecilia was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a type of bone cancer, after an X-ray showed a large mass on the right side of her rib cage during a trip to the emergency room on March 22nd, 2018.
If you'd like to follow Cecilia's progress, the group is open to the public to join.
Best of luck, Cecilia! We know you'll beat this thing!
