There have been rumors floating around about a big announcement coming from Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville and they finally spilled the beans. Christmas lovers and theme park enthusiasts rejoice!
Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay, Kentucky's largest theme park will transform into a Winter Wonderland for the holiday season for the first time this year, and from the looks of photos and videos shared on their website, it is going to be epic.
Experience the Magic of Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom
King Louie's Playland will be turned into Candyland with thousands of twinkling lights to enjoy as you toodle on the Tin Lizzies and enjoy a beautiful maze of classic Christmas trees.
Holly Jolly Junction stars the red-nosed reindeer himself, Rudolph! You can meet him and all of his friends before watching a 5-D version of the beloved holiday movie. Those are so cool! With reindeer games and Christmas cookies, it is fun for the whole family.
Snow Zone sounds like it will be a total blast! We won't have to wait for snow to go tubing or sledding. Kentucky Kingdom will have a 175-foot hill covered in real snow to zoom down with your friends. Glowing orbs hang all around as you make snowmen, snow angels and enjoy S'mores over a fire.
Of course, you'll have to go see the big man! Santa invites you to visit his house in Santa's Village to see if you're on the nice list or not. Kentucky Kingdom is calling this a unique meet-and-greet experience so I hope that means there are surprises in store!
I have a confession, I haven't been to Kentucky Kingdom in years, but I am REALLY excited about this! I can't wait to go get in the festive spirit right in the heart of the Bluegrass State. What about you?
