Chris Stapleton Rocks with Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars on New Song
I love all types of music, but my favorite by far is rock. My dad is a huge Elvis Presley fan, my uncle on my mom's side listened to Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and a whole host of other classic rock bands when I was growing up, plus I spent the first six years of my radio career on our rock sister-station, 103GBF, the station I grew up listening to. The point is, I was exposed to rock music from an early age and it just stuck with me more than any other genre. So when I saw someone on Twitter excitedly mention the new Ed Sheeran track featuring Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars rocked, I had to check it out.
Normally, I wouldn't associate any of these three artists with rock 'n' roll, even though I do enjoy songs from all three individually. But from the moment I pressed play on the lyric video above, I was hooked. The song opens with hard electric guitar riff and a screaming Ed Sheeran, and just never stops. In about the first two seconds it became my new favorite song of the moment. Turn up the volume take a listen. I'll be playing it on repeat for a while.
