The L.A. International Dairy Competition has been around for over 100 years. It is basically the Olympics of dairy products like butter, ice cream, and milk. The judges are from around the world, and it's up to their palettes to determine the best in each category.

Chaney’s Dairy Barn, a fifth-generation dairy farm in Bowling Green, has been recognized by one of the most prestigious and long-standing dairy product competitions in the United States: the 2023 Los Angeles International Dairy Competition. Chaney’s was awarded four Gold Medals, scoring a perfect 100 points for three of them in the 2023 contest. Chaney’s was awarded Gold for their Vanilla ice cream, Wow Now Brownie Cow ice cream, as well as whole and chocolate milk!
Double Scoop of Good News
Chaney's Diary Barn is selling more ice cream than ever before, and they are also meeting a lot of new customers every day. According to Bowling Green Daily News, an expansion is in the works.
Carl Chaney, the restaurant’s owner, said he hopes to begin in November an expansion that will add 10,000 square feet to the business and allow him to increase seating, streamline his ice cream serving lines and double the size of his production area.
