Care Bears Returning to TV in Computer Generated Form

Another cartoon from my childhood is making it's return. The Care Bears are coming back to the small screen to bring their Care-a-lot attitude into the homes of the kids of the kids they entertained in the 80's. The problem I have is according to popwatch.com, they will be computer generated in a 3D look. Is it just me, or do these recreations really creep you out?
