Kentucky Foodies! Do you have what it takes to pass the two most outrageous food challenges in the state?

The state of Kentucky has no shortage of great restaurants that have been open for years. These restaurants have become staples in that area where people must go whenever they are in town. They are restaurants that can even become bucket-list places to dine at. Whether it be comfort food, burgers, fried chicken, seafood, Italian, Mexican, steakhouses, or any other type of restaurant, certain places stand out among the rest. Many of these restaurants have some pretty epic food challenges that many people try, but only a few are able to complete them. So, that got me curious as to what the most insane food challenge in Kentucky is.

The Most Insane Food Challenges in Kentucky

We've all seen some pretty wild food challenges at local restaurants and on shows like "Man vs Food". There are a lot of them throughout the country and even right here in Indiana. So, I checked on some trusted food websites to find the most insane food challenge in Kentucky. As it turns out, they have conflicting answers. So, we'll see which of these you think is the most insane food challenge is in Indiana.

According to Eat This Not That, their choice for the most outrageous food challenge in Kentucky is the Pounder Challenge at Pizza by the Pound in Paducah. Here's what Eat This Not That says about the Pounder Challenge:

Make sure to come hungry if you take on The Pounder Challenge at <a href="https://www.yelp.com/biz/pizza-by-the-pound-paducah" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer external">Pizza By the Pound</a>, <a href="https://blog.cheapism.com/free-food-eating-challenges-list-14322/#slide=11" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer external">the top-ranked eating challenge in Kentucky</a>. Diners have the chance to chow down on an 8-pound pizza and if they can finish it in an hour, they win $100 and don't have to pay for the meal.

The website, Mashed claims that there is another food challenge deserving to be called the most insane food challenge in Kentucky. Mashed says that the title should go to another type of pizza challenge in the state. Mashed says that the Prisoner's Parden Pizza Challenge at Jailhouse Pizza in Brandenburg is the best food challenge in the state. Here's what they said:

Prisoners on death row get a final meal, and competitive eaters at Jailhouse Pizza receive what they might wish would be their last meal. Weighing in at 12 pounds, the Prisoner's Pardon pizza is 30 inches and fully loaded with toppings, including pepperoni, sausage, bacon, salami, ham, meatballs, and cheese. The rules allow you and a hungry friend one hour to attack the massive pie, and if you win, you receive $200 cash, two T-shirts, a free pizza, and your name in the Jailhouse Hall of Fame.

I don't know about you, but I am up for trying both of these Kentucky food challenges. Which one do you think would be harder to complete?
