Burn Ban Issued For Some Kentucky Counties

When we talked to Ron Rhoads, from ABC 25 WEHT a few days ago, he explained that we haven't had anywhere near the amount of rain in September that we normally have. That puts us in a dangerous position for wildfires. Burn bans have been put into effect for the following Kentucky counties, in the shaded areas.

This is a total ban on outdoor burning of any kind.Right know this just includes counties in Kentucky, but similar bans in Indiana and Illinois countries may soon follow. If you are unsure what the ban entails or have another questions regarding a ban in your county, you are asked to contact your local fire department.
