Last night (Feb.20th) at the Ford Center, Brantley Gilbert showed his softer side. He may seem a little rough around the edges, but he's really a big teddy bear.

While performing in Evansville, Brantley invited a girl to share the stage his hat and his motorcycle with him during his last song of the night., Bottom's Up. The look on her face is priceless. I absolutely love when artists do this kind of thing. In that moment, they become more like real people to us. Even though they seem far removed from us, when they show real kindness, right in front of our eyes, it's just beautiful.

Her name is Samantha and must admit I'm a little jealous.

I actually met Brantley several years ago and he was very quiet, very polite and sweet.

This doesn't surprise me a bit that he did something like this. My heart is melting.

I talked to Samantha and her mom and dad about her reaction to Brantley's invite on stage.
