This is the perfect time of year for ice cream, and apparently, there's no place better to get some than at this Indiana ice cream parlor.

Ice cream is the perfect snack for summertime. Whether it be a soft serve in a cone, a milkshake, a parfait, or a sundae, you really can't go wrong with ice cream this time of year. Personally, I am a basic guy when it comes to ice cream. Just give me vanilla or birthday cake flavor, and I am happy. Just writing this makes me want a birthday cake batter milkshake. In any event, when it comes to the best flavor of ice cream to order, it's all pretty subjective. We'll leave that discussion for a different time.

When it comes to getting ice cream, there are so many options in the Hoosier State. We have a lot of ice cream parlors serving up some delicious sweet treats. The popular food publication 'Love Food' recently released its picks for the best ice cream parlors in every state. While there are plenty of great ice cream joints throughout Indiana, only one spot could top the list.

Here's what 'Love Food' had to say about LiftOff Creamery:

This cute and cozy aviation-themed ice cream parlor sells over 70 flavors, with endless topping combinations available. If you're really hungry, or sharing with friends, try the belly-busting Heavy Jet: ten scoops of ice cream, a selection of toppings, bananas, and brownies topped with whipped cream.

Alternate Slogans For Indiana's new Welcome Signs

16 Indiana Towns with Dirty-Sounding Names

A majority of these towns were given their names in the mid-to-late 1800s as settlers making their way across the country found unclaimed plots of land and decided to make them their own. While I imagine they thought the names they came up with were innocent, and perhaps a tribute to something in their lives, pop culture has warped our minds to the point since then that we can't help but think of something about the town that was never intended by its founders. Take a look at this list. I guarantee there's at least one name that will make you chuckle.

30 Bizarre (and Real) Indiana High School Mascots

According to High School.com, there are 682 high schools in Indiana. 555 of those are public schools, while the remaining 127 are private. A majority of those schools have chosen typical mascots to represent them, like eagles, tigers, lions, jets, patriots, and so on and so forth. But, these 30 schools decided to go, well, a different direction.
