Evansville Horror Con

It's no secret that horror movies rarely get the recognition they deserve from mainstream pop culture, but it's safe to say fans of horror showed up and showed that the horror-loving community is alive and well in Evansville!

Back in March 2023, the National Guard Armory on Evansville's east side was home to the first-ever Horror Con.  A horror-themed convention put on by the same folks who bring Raptor Con to Evansville every year.  Horror Con brought all kinds of spooky vendors selling everything from books to dioramas to horror-themed artwork and much more.  They also had panels, special effects workshops, photo ops, and of course celebrity guests. It was such a huge success that Horror Con will not only be back in 2024, but it will be even BIGGER!

Horror Con Celebrity Guests

So far Horror Con 2024 is shaping up to be HUGE with several big names in horror heading to Evansville for the weekend of March 2nd through 3rd.  For instance, the first guest announced was David Howard Thorton, but you know him as Art the Clown.  Tony Moran who portrayed Michael Myers is also among the names of celebrity guests. Sean Whalen, Damien Leone, Dan Sperry, Brandon Adams, and Yan Birch have also been announced for Evansville's Horror Con.  Today Horror Con gave us another exciting celebrity announcement, Bam Margera!

This one was really exciting for me as I was in junior high and high school when Jackass and Viva La Bam were all the rage, and I had all of the seasons on DVD.
