Ashley Cooke Vanderburgh County Fair Interview
We got to chat with country music singer, Ashley Cooke, ahead of the fair and delivered some pretty surprising news to her!
This year, the Vanderburgh County Fair will be taking place from July 21st through 26th. There are so many things to see and do at the fair, but one of the highlights of the week is the concert. The Vanderburgh County Fair has brought in some of the biggest names in country music to perform at the fair. Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Chris Young, Eric Church, Morgan Wallen, Granger Smith, Joe Diffie, and Parmalee are all artists who have graced the stage at the fair in years past.

2025 Vanderburgh County Fair Concert
For the first time since 1989, a solo female act is headlining the Vanderburgh County Fair. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, as country music artist, Ashley Cooke, will be taking the stage at the grandstand.
Ashley Cooke really broke onto the scene earlier this year with her first number-one hit single, "Your Place." Early in her career, Cook has already had quite a few accomplishments that include Ryman and Grand Ole Opry debuts, national TV appearances on ABC's The Bachelorette and NBC's TODAY, tours with Luke Bryan, Jordan Davis, Cole Swindell, Brett Young, and more. Plus, she went on to win her first CMT Award for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year at the 2024 CMT Awards before being nominated for ACM New Female Artist of the Year.
Joining Cooke will be a Tri-State native, and rising talent, Kenna Elpers, making this year a female dominated Vanderburgh County Fair concert! Fun fact, Kenna is the first local artist EVER to open and preform at the fair!
