Looking to live in one of the friendliest places in Kentucky? You might be surprised by which cities are among the top ten.

I have spent a lot of time in Kentucky, even living in the Bluegrass State for about five years. While the state might get overlooked by many,  I don't think that Indiana is a bad place to raise a family. Aside from the weather we have here sometimes, Kentucky has a lot to offer families. Here in Kentucky, we also have a lot of places full of southern hospitality. These places are full of residents who show kindness, warmth, and are welcoming of visitors to their homes or towns.

With so much negativity in the world today, sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came...you know, kind of like the Cheers theme song.

What I'm trying to say, is that perhaps you might want to either visit or live in one of the friendliest places in Kentucky. Well, thanks to Next Door, we now know the ten friendliest places to live in Kentucky. In all honesty, looking at the list, I was kind of surprised to see a few of these cities/towns on the list. Moreover, more surprised by a town that was not on the list

As you can see, the majority of these places are smaller towns, with the exception of Louisville. If I am being honest, I didn't expect to see Louisville on this list. In fact, I thought for sure that Murray would have made the top ten. It was once named the friendliest small town in America.  In any event, if you have ever traveled through some of these small towns in Kentucky, most of these little towns in the state are pretty charming. There's so much hometown pride in these small towns. The small towns in Kentucky are packed with southern hospitality. That being said, do you think these are the friendliest places to live in Kentucky?
