March 7, 2013 Here we go again. Daylight Saving Time officially begins this Sunday at 2am, as we spring forward - and with the time change, comes the annual debate for changing Indiana's time zones. This debate has been raging for so long and nothing has been accomplished. So, why are we still debating this? Simple. Because everyone has a different opinion and nobody can agree.
February 6, 2013 It was just about one year ago the Indiana General Assembly refused to give a hearing to a bill, which would allow Sunday alcohol sales leaving Indiana and Connecticut as the only states with such a ban. A few months later, Connecticut lifted their ban thus, leaving Indiana as the only hold out on lifting the ban. That could finally change as the House public policy committee scheduled a hearing on a bill to lift the ban and allow carry-out liquor sales.
December 14, 2012 No doubt you have heard the story by now about the Bloomington South High School girls' basketball team beating Arlington High School 107-2 Tuesday night in Indy. There was been so much outrage over that game, an official with the Indiana state prep sports association says he never wants to see a one-sided outcome like that again.
July 27, 2012 Neil Reed, basketball standout at South Spencer High School and IU collapsed and died of cardiac arrest at his California home yesterday, he was 36. It was in 1997 when Reed, a junior at IU, alleged that he was choked by coach Bob Knight in practice. A videotape of that particular practice surfaced that substantiated Reed's claim against Knight.

May 4, 2012 Indiana and Kentucky have been going head to head since 1924 and in the regular season since 1969, but no more. Yesterday, IU said it would not renew the contract to play Kentucky because of a disagreement over where to play the games.
May 3, 2012 There has been a move afoot over the last few years to lift the ban on Sunday alcohol sales in Indiana. Indiana legislative leaders have been very reluctant to lift the ban even though most state residents seem to be in favor of lifting the ban.

March 30, 2012 We have all seen it, that one guy who wears his pants so low, three-quarters of his underwear is in plain view. Some of these people wear their pants SO low that if it were not for their underwear, we would see a lot more of them than we would want or even need to see. Some say it's offensive and should be banned in public places and others believe in freedom of expression... and as long as certain parts aren't showing or even visible, it can't be legislated.
March 23, 2012 There has been a lot of talk lately about the new police entry law, SB-1, which was signed into law by Gov. Mitch Daniels a couple of days ago. The new law basically gives Hoosiers the right to resist unlawful entry by law enforcement.
