Former Indiana Basketball Standout Neil Reed Dies at 36

Neil Reed, basketball standout at South Spencer High School and IU collapsed and died of cardiac arrest at his California home yesterday, he was 36. It was in 1997 when Reed, a junior at IU, alleged that he was choked by coach Bob Knight in practice. A videotape of that particular practice surfaced that substantiated Reed's claim against Knight.

Indiana Plans State Park Hunts

If you are a hunter, you will want to plan a trip to Indianas State Parks in the coming weeks. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources will close 21 parks for two rounds of deer hunts this month. The hunts are scheduled for Nov 14 and 15 also Nov 28 and 29.  The hunts will be open to preregistered hunters only.
