George Jones Thanks Fans Then Accuses Daughter Georgette Of Lying [Video]

George Jones has created a video to say thank you to his many loyal fans who have stuck by him over the years and in particular, those who have stood by him during his recent health issues. Jones has cancelled shows over the last couple of months as he battles an upper respiratory infection. As a result, he just cancelled the ramaining dates of his tour through may 20th, which has some speculating about the health of the country icon. The video is mainly a sincere ‘thank you’ for the ongoing support and the kind wishes related to his health issues. Just as the video is ending, Jones apologizes for the actions of his daughter, Georgette Lennon.
Jones accuses Lennon and her new husband of spreading lies about him on the internet saying it’s all about money in a very strange speech about some of the issues he has with Lennon, his daughter with the late Tammy Wynette.
Upon hearing of the accusations, Lennon immediately took to her father’s fan club page and denied any wrongdoing and said the trouble began with Jones being a ‘no-show’ at her wedding two years ago.
Lennon says the only thing she is interested in is having relationship with her father and putting their past problems behind her. Lennon says she loves her father and is very surprised by these accusations. See the video for yourself below.
