YouTube is such a huge part of our culture today, it is hard to believe that YouTube is only 10 years old, created in February of 2005. It seems like YouTube has always been a part of our lives, doesn't it?
The only thing good that came out of the Ray Rice domestic violence elevator video was a much increased awareness about domestic violence and how serious the problem really is, even though most of us want to believe that it could never happen to us....WRONG!
Before you jump to conclusions based solely on the title, at least take a look. Every time something like this appears on YouTube, people immediately assume it is fake, photo shopped, or some other type of video editing trickery.
Believe it or not, the below video is actually a commercial for a telecom company in Thailand. It is all about giving without any expectation of something in return. This goes way beyond paying it forward, or anything even remotely close to that.
Leslie and I are always joking about me liking the music of Michael Buble. Well, it's not really a joke because I really do like his music, which is a crooning style that harkens back to Sinatra. Six-year-old Griffin REALLY likes Buble as well, especially his YouTube videos.
Well, we've come to that exciting time of year again where students who've put in years of hard work are finally basking in the light at the end of the tunnel as they cross the threshold of completing a major chapter in their lives, and now they feel like they can conquer pretty much anything
The folks at Bad Lip Reading have done it again. This time they have tackled The Wolf of Wall Street. These guys are masters at turning the most serious and boring TV shows and movies into roll on the ground laughing comedies.
Infomercials are by far the worst things on television today. The acting is so bad and kinda makes all of us look like bumbling fools using everyday household products that actually work much better than portrayed in the infomercial. They also try and convince you that life as you know it, will stop dead if you don't buy this new product.
Whatever motivated a group of men in Poland to make a cannon out of a trash can is anybody's guess. These guys are clearly a bunch of idiots, but the result of their endeavor is not only the stupidest thing you will ever see, but maybe one of the funniest because of the stupidity involved.
My wife and I have very different approaches to driving and she hates my driving for reasons I cannot even begin to fathom. Lisa is absolutely convinced that if she pushes her foot down hard enough on the passenger floorboard, the car will in fact, come to a stop.
When my wife and I were living in our Downtown Evansville condo, we almost never saw any spiders. Since we moved into a house on the North Side, we have seen so many, we hired a pest control company to get rid of them. Lisa HATES spiders and I can't even watch Arachnophobia all the way through...that movie freaks me out!
It is that time of year to start receiving Christmas cards from friends and family. I just received mine from Eric Cornish the other day, a great card featuring photos of his wife and kids. I also received my annual card from my Uncle Rich from California. I have never really sent out Christmas, but my wife said she would like to start.
