Jon Prell

I have been at WKDQ for 13 years and have loved every minute of it. My career started in Southern California and I arrived in Evansville in 1994. I have three children that keep me very busy and the rare opportunity to go out and not have a six foot mouse serving your table is a rare and welcome treat. I love motorcycles and classic country and even host the WKDQ Country Classics show every Saturday from 6-10am. If I can I can ever play a song for you, let me know at wkdq.com.

Amazing Son Gives Dad The Gift Of A Lifetime – A 1953 Hudson Hornet [Video]

I lost my mother last month and I am still having a hard time reconciling the loss. I hope she knew how much I loved her and how much she meant to my life and the person I am. Jon’s Restaurant Pet Peeve – No Coasters for Cold Drinks

Saturday night my wife and I went out to dinner at a place we frequent and love and decided to sit outside. My only problem with this restaurant and a few others in town is the lack of coasters for the cold drinks and that just drives me nuts! I usually get a tall draft beer that comes in some sort of frozen glass or mug that becomes a liquidy mess on the table once it begins to thaw...I hate that!!
