I have been so excited about WKDQ night at the Opry for a while, and finally on Friday I was lucky enough to get to go see the show that made country music famous live and in person! I learned some really cool history about the Grand Ole Opry, and Jon even wanted to share some with YOU!

The only thing that could have made WKDQ Night at the Opry any better would have been if Leslie, and Deb could have made it! Then we'd have had the whole KDQ crew there! However Eric, Jon, Travis, and I still had a great time, and Jon did a great job hosting a portion of the show!

One of the greatest parts of the Opry is how much history is involved in it! Every little details has some sort of significance, for instance the big circle on the center of the stage at the Grand Ole Opry, what is it for?

Turns out that circle is EXACTLY where some of the greatest in country music have performed.  Jon tells the story much better than I can, so I'll let him explain below! :)

Needless to say I had an AMAZING time at the Grand Ole Opry, and cannot wait for my next chance to go back!

I even ran into someone you might recognize ;)
