Why are there Thousands of Ford Trucks at an Abandoned Kentucky Racetrack?
There are thousands of brand-new Ford pickup trucks at the Kentucky Motor Speedway, but they aren't there for a race.
My buddy Jeff Minnis travels a lot for his job, and recently he drove past the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky. Sadly, the racetrack isn't used for big-time racing anymore. In fact, the last Nascar race held at Kentucky Motor Speedway was in 2020.

Dear Kentucky Speedway Fans, Kentucky Speedway will not be hosting NASCAR races in 2021. Your support has meant the world to us, and we would like to sincerely thank you for being a part of our first two decades. As we evolve our property into a multi-use facility, we will continue to keep you updated about our future plans.
One Giant Parking Lot
Jeff did see thousands of brand-new Ford pickup trucks just parked all over the racetrack. This wasn't for a liquidation sale, in fact, they aren't even for sale yet. The trucks are missing parts, so they can't be finished until the specific parts are in. The racetrack is renting space to Ford, so they are making a little money.
Some folks on social media say the inventory of the unsellable trucks has varied in the past few months. But as you can see from Jeff's photos it is pretty full.
