What Kind of Critters Do You Have in Your Own Back yard??

If you haven't heard yet, I just became a first time home buyer! My husband and I closed on our house last week, so we've been super busy moving, and unpacking, and painting. However one thing that is much easier now that we have a house is taking our dog out. When you live in an apartment, you have to take your dog out on a leash, and we lived on the 2nd floor so it was a bit of a pain, but now Wrigley has her very own back yard! But I learned last night she has to share it! 

Last night I was about to let Wrigley out and I turned on my patio light to find two eyes staring back at me...it was a raccoon!! He was sitting on my back patio and I think me flipping on the light startled him because he just stood there frozen.  So I waited until he was gone before letting Wrigley out because she's a chicken and I didn't want to have to defend her against a raccoon.

I loved seeing it tho! I named him Theodore...or maybe Miss Theodore if she's a girl haha! But what kind of critters have you seen in your back yard??
