West Side Nut Club Reminds Festival Goers to Leave Dogs at Home

If you are planning to attend the 98th Annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival, leave your dog at home. Not only is this not allowed due to a city of Evansville ordinance - see below from the Nut Club - it is also just an all around terrible idea. The asphalt is hot. There are too many people, smells and loud noises. It is entirely too easy for a dog, no matter how well behaved, to become overwhelmed and disoriented and that just spells a recipe for disaster. The only exception to this is the annual Pet Parade that will take place on October 12th at the Main Stage.
