I grew up going camping here in Indiana. We had everything from a tent to a pop-up camper and a camper. Camping was always something that I enjoyed doing. Between hiking the trails, fishing, swimming, and food over a campfire, spending time at the campground was always a great experience. It's been quite some time since I have been camping, but it's something that my family and I plan on doing this year.

The Best Place to Go Camping in Indiana

According to the travel website, Travel & Leisure, the best camping in Indiana can be found at Brown County State Park. Brown County has been nicknamed the “Little Smokies” because of the area’s resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains. There, you'll find nearly 16,000 acres of rugged hills, ridges, and fog-shrouded ravines. Brown County State Park, which is perfect for camping and more outdoor fun during the summer and fall.
