There's nothing quite like comfort food, and when it comes to restaurants serving delicious comfort food, one website claims that this is the best in Indiana.

Everyone loves to indulge in comfort food. Granted, they might not realize what they are eating is considered "comfort food". So, for those who don't really know what that term actually means, let me help you out. Dictionary.com defines comfort food as "simple, home-style food that brings comforting thoughts of home or childhood."

So comfort food could mean a meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, cheeseburgers, pancakes, fried chicken, or anything that reminds you of those favorite home-cooked meals that you loved as a kid. Here in Indiana, we have a lot of restaurants that specialize in comfort food. A couple that comes to mind here in the Evansville area would be The Log Inn and Comfort by Cross-Eyed Cricket. However, one website claims to have found the best restaurant in the state for comfort food.

The Best Restaurant in Indiana for Comfort Food

The website, Food Love recently compiled a list of the best restaurant serving comfort food in every state. The restaurant that they chose for Indiana's best serves up some great American classics. It's The Eagle in Indianapolis.
