The Best Brooks & Dunn Music Videos – Our Top Five
The legendary country duo that was Brooks & Dunn "retired" back in 2009, but the famed band's ex-members Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn are still keeping busy.
Brooks is working on a new album and filming a western called 'To Kill a Memory' with "Boots On" singer Randy Houser. Dunn has a new album out and a hit single with 'Bleed Red,' and he'll be touring the nation solo for the next few months. You can sign up on our Facebook page for your chance to win two tickets and backstage passes to Dunn's July 21st show in Yakima, WA.
We got a little nostalgic thinking about all that history, though, so we surfed the tubes and collected what we think are the five best classic Brooks & Dunn music videos. Check 'em out, and let us know if we missed any (or if we're just flat wrong).
'My Maria' (1996)
Kix Brooks plays the searching western cowboy and Ronnie Dunn sets a dove loose in a room for of burning candles for no apparent reason in this video for 'My Maria.'
'Red Dirt Road' (2003)
Brooks & Dunn get a little nostalgic themselves - over footage of some really good-looking actors - about the red dirt road where they "found Jesus" and "drank their first beer."
'Hard Workin' Man' (1993)
This rockabilly-flavored tune about being a "hard livin', hard workin' man" features badass clips of dudes riding bulls (as B&D sing from atop an old pickup truck) and a Vegas-lit finale (with Dunn singing from a classic convertible). Awesome 90s clothing abounds.
'Ain't Nothing 'Bout You' (2001)
The duo proclaim their all-encompassing love for a super-sexy fashion model, who dances and pouts throughout this fairly-straightforward video.
'Boot Scootin' Boogie' (1991)
The song that made line dancing cool again features the duo goofing around and dancing on stage as their full band rips it behind them.
