What makes these days the best and worst days to get gas?
According to USA Today:
"Very early in the week, when gas stations are generally a little bit quieter traffic-wise, is a great time to fill up," said Patrick DeHaan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy. "We generally see more volatility and higher prices later in the week."
USA Today also says that it's best to fill up in the morning on Monday since some prices tick upward in the afternoon. Gas prices are typically higher on Friday because most stations try to make more money ahead of weekend trips that customers may have planned.
