This road trip winds you through the Volunteer State to several spooky, stunning, and straight-up cool tunnels.

Beautiful Tennessee

While there is so much to do in Tennessee, I love nothing more than an excuse to drive through the Smoky Mountains.  I don't know about you, but it seems like lately, the mountains have been calling my name!  In my personal opinion, the Smoky Mountains are the perfect place to go for a long weekend getaway.  You can visit a cool little city like Gatlinburg or Chattanooga, or you can take a road trip and wind your way through mountains, and see more of Tennessee's gorgeous landscape.  So how about a road trip through the state that will take you through several really cool tunnels?

Eerie, but Cool and Sometimes Even Pretty

When you hear the word "tunnel" you may picture a creepy little underground tunnel, or maybe you picture a gorgeous tunnel that you drive through when winding through the mountains.  Either way, there are all kinds of tunnels, and there's no doubt that they are fun to visit. I love those tunnels you come across when winding through the mountains that take you through the mountain.
