A Sure Sign of Spring

One of my favorite parts of spring is when we start to see all of the colorful flowers bloom. A sure sign that spring is here is when the tulips begin to bloom. Tulips are vibrant colorful flowers that are a very welcome sight after a long winter.  Tulips should start blooming soon, and one tulip farm in Tennessee will celebrate with hundreds of thousands of tulips.

When is the Tennessee Tulip Festival?

The Festival is scheduled to run from March 16th through April 14th.  It is important to remember though, you'll want to keep an eye on Lucky Ladd Farms' social media pages to find the best times to go to see the tulips.

Tulips are an agricultural crop and therefore the weather determines when the tulips will start blooming. We estimate blooms will start popping open mid-to-late March and continue through the first few weeks in April. Tulip fields may not be entirely in full bloom all at the same time as we've staggered our varieties so guests may enjoy the tulips over a 2-3 week period since tulip season comes and goes quickly. Follow #tntuliptracker for bloom status.

Even if the tulips aren't all in bloom there are still plenty of other fun activities happening throughout the course of the Tulip Festival, you can learn more through the Lucky Ladd Farms website, here.
