Look At the Incredible Beauty of Tennessee’s Rock Island [PHOTOS]

The beauty of Tennessee never ceases to amaze me. To me, everything about Central to Eastern TN is perfect. The Smokey Mountains is one of my favorite places. I even took my  honeymoon, with my second husband, in Gatlinburg. My first husband's honeymoon was to Disney World. Which husband knew me best? You guessed it.

When I was a teenager, my parents took us on a vacation to Pickett State Park in TN. I fell in love with everything about it and wished we didn’t have to leave to head back to Indiana. My first full time radio job was in TN. I was so happy when I got the job and then realized it was in Western TN. Which has it’s own beauty, but not the spectacular beauty of  the mountains, waterfalls, and cliffs of places like Rock Island State Park in Southeastern TN. It looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I’m ready to practice some summer social distancing right there on Rock Island.

If you want to plan a vacation at Rock Island State Park, it has ten cabins you can rent.  All of the three-bedroom, two-bathroom cabins, are open all year long. The park also has two campgrounds with 60 different campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents.

Rock Island is about four and a half hours away from Evansville, near McMinnville, TN.
