One of the hottest topics right now is the proposed consolidation of Evansville City and Vanderburgh County governments into one body. Both sides have very strong arguments in support of their respective positions on this issue. Advocates for both sides will speak tonight at a public meeting at the C.K. Newsome Center at 6:30pm in Downtown Evansville.
Today is primary day in Indiana and hopefully by this point in the day you have gotten out there and cast your all important vote. If you haven’t you still have some time this evening after you get off work.

Today is primary election day and one issue that will not be on the ballot until November is the City/County government merger referendum. This has been a hot button topic for quite sometime now and will be decided in November's General election. Arguements are strong on both sides of the issue.
