Last month, the U.S. Postal Service announced it would end Saturday delivery of first class mail in an effort to save $2 billion annually. The Postal Service lost about $16 billion last year, but on Thursday Congress passed legislation requiring six-day delivery, which is not what the Postal Service wanted to see.
