The 4th Annual Evansville Give Hope Run happened at Burdette Park this Saturday and once again outdrew not only previous years, but all markets for races of this kind. The total money raised this year was $111,254! The day was capped off by a performance from country artist, Dylan Scott.

It was a soggy start to the morning, but as promised by his brother, Conner, Shon Whitsoe kept the rain from falling during the race. It was the 3rd annual Give Hope Run in Evansville to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and once again it was held in the memory of Shon Whitsoe and all the St. Jude patients who've lost their battle.
In only its second year, the Evansville edition of the Give Hope Run for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has garnered attention from all over the country, especially from Memphis and the hospital itself. After breaking records from all over the US last year with $65,000 plus raised, this year's walk, Saturday at Burdette Park raised $110,595!
As the walk and run season gets into full effect, I strongly recommend one you should not miss. It's the second year for the Give Hope Run here in Evansville, tomorrow at Burdette Park.
