Reporters Beth Smith and Douglas White with the Henderson Gleaner are reporting the backpack was a "one-pot meth lab." Henderson first responders are still on the scene and have closed off "the southbound ramp to I-69/U.S. 41."

Avoid the area if you can.


ORIGINAL STORY

Henderson Police, Fire, and EMS are on the scene investigating a situation at the Highway 41 and Highway 60 Cloverleaf in Henderson after a backpack began to leak and smoke after being hit by a mowing crew in the area.

According to the Henderson Gleaner, a member of the crew struck the backpack around 9:30 a.m. this morning. No further information was provided at the time of their report, however they did say traffic in the area "has stymied."
