Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin signed a new bill that allows people to carry a concealed handgun without a permit.  The bill allows people 21 and over to carry a concealed firearm without a permit.

Residents of Kentucky can still get a permit, but it will not be required. Although, Kentuckians who frequently travel to other states might want to have a permit for their concealed firearm, as Kentucky is one of only sixteen states that allows permitless concealed carry. The law will go into effect on July 1st.

As someone who owns a firearm in Indiana, I have considered getting my concealed carry permit. I know quite a few people who have one. Do you think that Indiana should follow Kentucky's lead and allow people to carry a concealed handgun without a permit? What would be some pros and cons of being able to carry a concealed firearm without a permit?
