Should Brides Have a Say in Hair Color? WKDQ Listeners Talk Back!
A post on Reddit went viral today where a girl said she is in a wedding, and she has red hair, but the bride asked her to change her hair color for the wedding, she said it wouldn't be "cohesive" and even said she would PAY to have the bridesmaid change her hair. This of course sparked on online debate. What do YOU think??
I even have red hair and I'm not okay with this!
Here's what I think!
I'm getting married this Summer, and the girls that are in my bridal party aren't there because of their looks. I mean okay, I'm a bit biased, because I think I've got the most beautiful friends in the world, so I think they're a stunning group of ladies! But the thing is, that's not why they're my bridesmaids. They're my bridesmaids because they are good friends of mine, who mean a lot to me. I don't care what color their hair is, how many tattoos they have, or how many piercings they have. All I care about is that they are up next to me on my big day. I think if you're more worried about your friends hair color, are you really a good friend to them?
Here's what a few of you said on facebook:
Connie Higgins Are you kidding me? No way & what kind of "friend" would even consider asking her bridesmaid to do such a thing? If the bride & other bridesmaids were all doing it for some reason & asked, that's a different story.
Laurie Mayes Fuller I would say I would have to decline and hope she had a great wedding and marriage.
