Rush Limbaugh–Talk Show Icon–Announces He Has Late Stage Cancer
America's number one talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, has told his nationwide audience that he has been diagnosed with late stage lung cancer. He said:
So I have to tell you something today that I wish I didn’t have to tell you, and it’s, it’s a struggle for me because I had to inform my staff earlier today ... I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.
The 69 year old has been THE conservative host on radio since 1988 and delivers an estimated over 15 million listeners a day. He has been a supporter of President Trump. He recently signed a long term extension agreement with Premier radio networks.
Rush said on his February show that he will miss some of his shows for more testing but at the current time has zero symptoms. He said he did notice he was having some shortness of breath on his Jan. 12 birthday and thought it might be heart related so he contacted his doctor to have a checkup.
Rush has been a cigar smoker for several years.
