RIP Count Von Count Of Sesame Street

It's a sad day as one of the original puppeteers from Sesame Street and other Jim Henson Projects has passed away.  Jerry Nelson, the designer and voice of many characters, including The Count died at the age of 78.

His other characters reads like a who's who of my childhood.  Nelson voiced Herry Monster, Kermit's nephew Robin, Gobo from Fraggle Rock, and the guitar player with the fiery orange mustache, Floyd from The Muppet Show.

I personally would like to thank Nelson for bringing joy to me as a kid, and to other kids for over 40 (ah ah ah) 40 wonderful years!
