Win Tickets to the 2022 Sandy Lee Watkins Songfest in Henderson

The 2022 Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival kicks off later this week and we want you to experience one of the many performance sessions for free.

This year's festival begins on the evening of Wednesday, July 27th with two sessions. One will take place at Hometown Roots at the corner of North Main and 2nd Streets in downtown Henderson, while the other will happen at Rookies Sports Bar on 2nd Street just down the street from Hometown Roots. Both sessions will run simultaneously from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.

Thursday's schedule will be a carbon copy of Wednesday with two more sessions from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Hometown Roots and Rookies.

Friday and Saturday will feature four sessions in total, two "early bird" sessions from 6:45 to 8:30 PM, and two "night owl" sessions from 9:00 PM until 10:45 PM with Hometown Roots and Rookies serving as the venues for all sessions those nights as well.

Tickets for all sessions are available through the festival's website with proceeds from the four-night event helping the Festival provide grants to a variety of non-profits, as well as scholarships for students pursuing a degree in the arts in the Henderson County area.
