Princeton, Indiana Man Scores Rare Hole-In-One
If you play golf, you know how hard it is to get a hole in one. It's nearly impossible. Even the pros rarely ever make one. I can't even get a hole-in-one playing miniature golf.
Well, Dan Robbins, of Princeton IN, got one on hole #4 at the Princeton Country Club. WOW! Congratulations, Dan!
Just how difficult is it to get a hole-in-one? According to Wikipedia:
12,500 to 1Usually such expensive prizes are backed by an insurance company who offers prize indemnification services. Actuaries at such companies have calculated the chance of an average golfer making a hole in one at approximately 12,500 to 1, and the odds of a tour professional at 2,500 to 1.
