The Hope Gallery Newburgh held its grand opening celebration recently, and once inside you quickly realize how special it is.

Much More Than a Boutique

You will find some of the most unique items at The Hope Gallery because everything is created by an individual with a disability. I was just in awe of the mosaics, especially a giant Mickey Mouse one that was screaming my name.

Seeing the team members interact with customers and seeing them beaming with pride about their specialties was just so inspiring.

Allyssa told us that her favorite part about working at The Hope Gallery is the grout. It gets a little messy, but the end projects are amazing.

After Work Socializing

Another great aspect of The Hope Gallery is all of the special events that the team members get to participate in with their families. I'm talking about super fun karaoke nights, silly hat parties, and special dances.

Giving Everyone a Purpose

During our time at The Hope Gallery, we caught up with Glenn Roberts. You might recognize his name because he is the Executive Director at the Tri-State Food Bank, Inc.Glenn's visit to The Hope Gallery was a very personal one: His son Paul is special needs and is a proud team member at The Hope Gallery.

"When you walk in here, there's just a wonderful spirit. My son, after being here a couple of months (He's 28 years old) He said that his life finally has purpose."
