Apparently, this is the best pizzeria in Indiana, and even Dave Portnoy from Barstool Sports weighed in on this Hoosier staple.

Who doesn't enjoy pizza? Whether it be hand-tossed, thin-crust, or deep dish, no matter what toppings you prefer, there are always some delicious go-to pizzas here in Indiana. We have so many local pizza restaurants that might not get the love that they deserve. From takeout joints and holes-in-the-wall to restaurants, diners, and cafés that serve up some tasty slices of pizza, the options are endless.  Honestly, that's where I believe you will find the best pizza in Indiana, not at some of these major pizza chains. However, you really can't go wrong when it comes to pizza. Even a bad pizza is still a good pizza.

This Indiana Pizzaera is Said to Serve the Best Pizza in the State

According to LoveFood the best pizza place in all of Indiana is Mother Bear's Pizza in Bloomington. Here is what LoveFood had to say about the pizza served at the best pizza place in the entire state:

Around since 1973, Mother Bear’s Pizza has two restaurants in Bloomington, with one based on campus at Indiana University. You can create your own by choosing a crust (traditional pan, deep dish, toasted sesame, or gluten free), a sauce (such as BBQ, vodka, sriracha, or Mother Bear’s award-winning pizza sauce), and toppings (including ghost pepper cheese, shredded pork loin, and Italian sausage). Alternatively, pick a pie from the menu, which includes favorites like the Dixie Two Step, featuring BBQ sauce, tender chunks of chicken, onions, and Cheddar.

Now, I have heard a lot about Mother Bear's Pizza throughout the years living here in Indiana. However, I have not been to Mother Bear's Pizza before. That being said, someone who knows a thing or two about pizza has. Dave Portnoy from Barstool Sports' One Bite series once gave Mother Bear's a try, and for him, it was a little underwhelming. Check it out:

Look, a list like this is completely subjective. Everyone's taste buds are different. What might be good to you might not be to me...especially if it involves putting pineapple on pizza, but that's a whole other debate. While you may disagree with this being named the best pizza place in Indiana, because everyone has their favorite, it still might be worth trying out the next time you visit Bloomington. I mean, like I said earlier, it's kind of hard to mess up pizza anyway!
