Police Investigate Suspicious Package On South Green River

The Evansville Police Department continue their investigation into a suspicious package that was found last night at a gas station on South Green River Road.

Police had closed a portion of S. Green River Road after a suspicious package was found yesterday evening at the Circle K.

All lanes were closed between the Lloyd and Lincoln Ave last night for about 3 hours while police investigated the package.

Around 8:30pm last night The Bomb Squad disputed the package according to the EPD.

Police will now investigate what was in the package and who may have placed it a the gas station.
